After looking at the various makes and models, I purchased a Watermakers Australia 58 litre an hour unit. We have had several watermakers over our life of cruising. This one sounded practical. I have left writing a review for 6 months to give an experienced review. It works absolutely terrific, making very close to the ltrs per hour they said. Using it whilst motoring along running through a 3000 watt inverter, the KArcher uses most of the charge coming in from our twin Yanmars so do you numbers carefully. Under our 7kva gen, it is effortless (well nearly). So on 12v, thirstier than say Spectra. But making 55 lph. All in all, 5 stars out of 5. I shared fitting with a watermaker installer, as I had many ongoing jobs at the time. He was terrific doing some fitments I didn't think of, of which made our setup top notch. From the very first contact through to now 6 months in use the series provided by Kalim at water makers Australia has been beyond exceptional. I purchased a twin membrane system and did the install myself and every time I contacted Kalim he provided me with answers to my questions, he showed us how to correctly install the membranes, how to run hoses etc. Since commissioning our water maker it has performed fantastic producing an average of 120 - 140 litres per hour.
